Save Actions in the Form Builder
Watch & Learn
In the form builder, you have three ways to save your work:
1- auto save
2- manual save
3- save version
Auto save
Your flow is automatically saved at regular intervals, so you never lose more than a few seconds of work.
Manual save
you can trigger a manual save at any time (Ctrl+S) or click the save icon in the header). Each save action simply records your most recent state, and while you can use Undo (Ctrl+Z) to step back a few edits, that history is limited.
Save Version
Creates a named snapshot of your current state—just like a manual save, but you choose a descriptive name. Saving a version allows you to keep a record of different states of a file as it evolves. It is ideal for major or experimental changes: you can revert to any version at any time, regardless of subsequent edits.
How to save a Version
For any major change, use Save Version instead (or in addition to) the regular Save.
Click the save icon in the header
Select the Save Version option
Enter a clear, descriptive name
That named snapshot is added to your Versions modal, where it remains frozen no matter how much you continue editing. Whenever you need to revert, just open Versions, find the snapshot, and roll back.
