Getting Started with the App Builder

Turn a prompt into a working app

This guide shows you how to start building with the Noca App Builder, from a blank prompt to a running app. We’ll build a two-page app: one page to collect personal details, the second to collect company details.

Follow these steps to get started:

Open the App Builder

  • Go to Apps, then New
  • This opens the prompt screen where you describe what you want to build

Choose your AI provider and model

  • Pick the AI provider that generates the app, including the logic, the design, and everything on the screen
  • Choose the model you want to use with that provider

Write or pull a prompt

  • Type a prompt describing the app you want
  • Or pull a saved prompt you already use
  • Example: an app with two pages, the first to collect personal details, the second to collect company details

Enhance the prompt (optional)

  • Click the enhance button to add specificity and turn your text into a fuller prompt
  • Or keep the prompt as you wrote it

Add a brand guideline (optional)

  • Pull a brand guideline from your files so the app matches your look

Dictate the prompt (optional)

  • Dictate the prompt to the builder instead of typing, to capture the language faster

Build it

  • Click go
  • The project starts building on its own
