Setting Up a Slack Connection
To automate workflows involving Slack — such as sending notifications or interacting with users — you’ll first need to create a secure connection between Noca AI and your Slack workspace.

Where to Start
Open the left drawer menu
Navigate to Flows > Connections
Click the “Add New” button at the top of the page
This opens a multi-step wizard to guide you through setting up your Slack connection.
Step by Step
Choose the App
- In the app selection screen, locate Slack in the list of available services.
- You may find it under the Recommended tab, but if not you can use the search box to look for it, or switch to the All tab to browse all existing services.
Click on the Slack tile to continue.
If you already have Slack connections, Noca will display them. You can:
- View or edit existing connections
- Or click “Create New” to start fresh
Authorize Slack
A Slack screen will open automatically.
It will identify you automatically (if you are logged in) and require you to give NOCA AI the permission to access your workspace.
Once you grant permissions, you’ll return to Noca to finish the setup
Connection Details
After authentication, provide:
- Connection Name – Choose a clear and recognizable name
- Description – (Optional) Add internal notes or context for later reference
Test and Save
At the bottom of the screen, you’ll find three options:
- Test Now– (Recommended) Run a quick test to ensure the connection is valid and responsive.
- Cancel – Exit the wizard without saving.
- Save – Finalize the setup.
After saving, the new Slack connection will appear in your main Connections table, ready to be used in your flows.
